Year 2011

The year 2011 ends with LMFAO as the best new group of the year with the #1 worldwide hit "Party Rock Anthem" which spent 4 weeks in the top position. Adele was considered to be the best "new artist" and scored two top 10 hits in the chart – "Rolling In The Deep" at #2 and "Someone Like You" at #6.

The Black Eyed Peas had another big year in 2011 with their latest album, same for Rihanna who, together with a few other artists, scored the most number of hits in the top 10 songs of the year – a total of 4.
