As you know, Lady GaGa's successful hit song "Bad Romance" includes French lyrics in the bridge:

Je veux ton amour
et je veux ta revanche
J'veux ton amour
I don't wanna be friends

I've been repeating these lyrics for ages, but I want to know if they sound coherent to the native French speakers. Like if I say the lyrics, will anybody give me an answer with a straight face?

Atleast I've got that and the "Lady Marmalade" chorus down to a pat.

And yes, I know Lady GaGa sounds heavily drunk whenever she speaks in French.

In fact, i don't understand anything when she spells the quoted french words in the song... But they are correct syntactically. It can be translated by (without needing to change the order) :

I want your love,
and I want your revenge
I want your love...

...

Yeah, but I don't think people use the word "revanche" much in France, right? The more appropriate word is "vengance", I believe.

And do you have a picture of yourself floating around, Charles? It'd be nice to match the name with a face I've wanted to see since forever.

"Revanche" doesn't have same signification than "Vengeance". "Vengeance" is harder than "revanche". And "revanche" is almost used for games (poker, football...).
